{ESSAY} Save Water

'Save Water', two common words and a very popular slogan these days, isn't? But do we really know what does this slogan actually mean? We always keep saying this slogan, preaching to others ( as I'm doing here! ), spreading awareness and all types of stuffs. But those preachers ( like I !) , they too, never care about it personally. (I confess about my mistakes too.) Like we always carelessly leave open the water taps while brushing when we actually don't require water, taking excess water for washing purposes, not taking required water for drinking and throwing it away and other careless ways. But we should never do this.

Water is a very important part of our life. Though it is chemically a compound, it is an element for good living. It not only helps us for drinking and washing purposes, but also for other things like extinguishing fire, for some water based power plants, for hydroelectricity, for bathing and cleaning of our bodies and for some endless reasons!!!

Several measures are being taken worldwide for saving water. Several organizations are being built. Several 'Save Water' movements are being taking place. Several contests, competitions, poster making are being taking place worldwide on a large extent, but is there any difference? WE still waste it. It is most wasted while taking showers. 5 minutes of showers finishes up 90+ liters of water (per shower.) And its a survey result.

I'm not blaming any specific country for finishing of water. We all are to be blamed for it. But here's a report of the top 10 countries where water consumption  is maximum. (Of course it also depends upon a country's population, and these countries have great population! )

1.) China
2.) India
3.) United States of America
4.) Brazil
5.) Russia
6.) Indonesia
                                                                   7.)Pakistan
                                                                   8.) Mexico
                                                                   9.) Japan
                                                                 10.) Nigeria

Not only these countries but every country in this world consumes water, and waste it too. But we can take several measures to consume it to the least. Countries with large population like India and China can't do much to it, just because of their population. But still, we should remember, " EVERY DROP COUNTS."
